From 3K to 50K, as well as from 300Tex to 4000Tex. Working with different reinforcing fibers such as Carbon, Glass, Aramid, Basalt, Natural Fibers, hybrid threads… Getting weights from 180gsm to 750gsm dry fabrics. Total width available is 100cm up to 200cm.
Unidirectional fabrics, woven with the stitching thread technology on perpendicular to the direction of the reinforcing fibers. Achieving malleable and flexible unidirectional fabrics. Improving its drapability and structure to ease its subsequent lamination.
Bidirectional fabrics, in the 0º and 90º direction, using mainly plain or twill 2/2 patterns. Stabilizing technology is used to fix the fabric and eases the subsequent processes.
From dry fabrics, introducing the thermoplastic matrix to obtain a flexible prepreg ready for the subsequent conforming processes.
Researching to achieve the best compatibility at the interface between fiber and matrix. Working mainly with semi-crystalline matrices with melting points from 150º up to 300º. Adjusting the matrix percentage of the compound according to the required specifications.
The result is a fully flexible thermoplastic prepreg. Easy to cut and conforms well to complex geometries. In addition, it allows storage at room temperature, without the need of refrigeration.
The main motivation for working with thermoplastic matrices is their recyclability. These can be processed several times, allow easy repair of the products, and at the end of their useful life the fiber can be separated from the matrix again.
Special machinery designed to weave with flat wide tapes up to 20mm width.
Impregnated fabrics, woven with impregnated tapes with the volume matrix needed, getting automatically a thermoplastic prepreg. Mixing fibers such us Carbon, Glass or Flax together with thermoplastic polymers such as PA6, PA11, BIO-PA, PC,PP,PLA…
Thermoplastic prepregs ready to be thermoformed, with an innovative wider ligaments, which give a more technical and characteristic surface finish of superior quality.
