In 2018, Marina Textil S.L. and Texfire Tèxtils Tècnics S.L. decided to start a new project together, investing in equipment, installations, and human resources to establish a new line of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic fabrics for the composites industry. Blackfabric is the brand name distinguishing the fabrics for the composites sector and operates within the company Texfire Tèxtils Tècnics SL. , renowned for its technical fabrics designed for high temperatures.
Blackfabric emerged in response to the growing need for a more affordable and sustainable textile solution in the advanced composites materials sector. Drawing upon the experience and expertise of its founders in the design and production of technical fabrics, Blackfabric’s primary goal is to introduce innovative solutions to the market using thermoplastic polymers and long fiber reinforcements.
